Springfield Robotics Club is a thriving community of young innovators, parents, and mentors who share a common passion for robotics and technology. Our journey began in 2016 when a group of parents set out on a mission to introduce their children to the world of robotics through FIRST Lego Robotics. Unable to find an existing team, they took matters into their own hands and laid the foundation for what would become the Springfield Robotics Club. Guided by the belief that "if you build it, they will come," this small group of dedicated individuals embarked on a remarkable journey that has since transformed into a vibrant and inclusive robotics community. 

            Springfield Robotics Club was founded on the principles of family and community. With the unwavering support of parents and the local community, the club began to take shape. What started as a small endeavor quickly blossomed into a warm and welcoming family of students, parents, and mentors who shared a common passion for robotics.

            From our humble beginnings, Springfield Robotics Club has grown into a dynamic organization that hosts both FIRST Lego Robotics teams and FIRST Tech Challenge teams. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment where young individuals can explore their potential, learn valuable skills, and develop a lifelong love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
